Founder & CEO
Nelson Zaumu, a Cameroonian-American, holds a BSc in Banking and Finance and has over 20 years of corporate experience in Africa, including 13 with multinationals. He spent close to 4 years in the telecoms industry that saw him participate in the development of a billing software and other applications at MTN Cameroon and 10 years in the banking industry, leading the commodities & agriculture business at Standard Chartered Bank in Cameroon Prior to starting SEYMELO, he led the development of a health insurance underwriting solution and digitised a major health insurer in Ghana while researching West Africa's informal sector from 2016 to 2022.
Chief Operations Officer
Achiles Nsai, a Cameroonian. He holds a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration from Leicester University, UK, and an MSc in International Business and Data Analytics from Ulster University, UK. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Achiles brings over 20 years of corporate experience in global roles at Schlumberger, spanning sales, marketing, project management, IT, operations, and finance. He led a team to develop and implement business systems, significantly enhancing operational efficiency, reliability, and cost reduction. Achiles is passionate about innovative technologies.
Chief Technology Officer
Tano M. Fotang, a Cameroonian has with over 20 years of IT experience, passionate about solving performance challenges using IT. A graduate of Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences, Germany, in Mechanical Engineering, he began as a research associate at Volkswagen before shifting to software development, starting with ATM device drivers. His career spans roles as a programmer, systems analyst, GIS analyst, systems developer, seven years as Chief IT Officer, 7 years as an associate partner leading research and system development, and 6 years as a chief solutions architect.
